Mount Carmel is a school for troubled teens aimed at helping integrate at risk youth back into society. How do we help troubled teens? By unfolding the boy’s mind as God created it through “Reality Therapy” on a 40000 acre working cattle ranch! Wilderness Program at Mt Carmel Youth Ranch Our program targets at risk teens through mind, spirit, and body intervention with activities aimed at behavior modification. Mount Carmel Youth Ranch (MTC) was founded in 1992 and is located on a 40000 acre working cattle ranch in northwest Wyoming. Mt. Carmel is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping young men with behavioral issues.

I personally know boys that Mt. Carmel helped and know that currently there are boys that are? now serving in our military as well as going to college as a result of going to Mt. Carmel. When they got there they were flunking school, into drugs etc. If they can turn a boys life around from potential jail to the military or college….they must be doing something right…..

Okay, all you parents need to listen up because I will only say this once: YOU CANNOT SEND YOUR KIDS TO A PRISON WITHOUT A TRIAL JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE DEFYING YOU. THAT IS CALLED FASCISM. My son went to this programme, he found out who he is out in the wilderness. His therapist worked with him and with me, his mother. I never dreamed we would ever have a relationship again but we have and my heartfelt thanks go to the wonderful people at Redcliff Ascent, they really care.

This is very inspiring! It is awesome to see people who will sacrifice themselves for others like this.
I like that this program is family centered, and not a clinical, or a group home. I had a friend who sent her son to one of those types of programs and he came out even more messed up than when he went in!
