Can anyone out there give me information on scholarships for troubled teen and specialty schools?
I am the parent of a troubled teen. I am in need of scholarship information, regarding specialty schools for troubled teens. I’ve been searching around and have nothing. If anyone has any resources that I can use to at least get on the right track it would be greatly appreciated.

Im not sure about the troubled teen aspect, but fastweb.com seems to have a scholarship for just about everything - from native american backgrounds to going to the prom in nothing but ducktape (i remember that from when I was applying)
It seems there are a lot of options that you will need to sort though, such as military or christian schools or even boarding schools. This will depend on your situation and once you figure that out, it will help narrow your search for scholarships. The link I included seems like a good starting point. I would personally talk to a high school counselor, someone from the Boys and Girls Club of America, or the YMCA if you have any in your area.
do you need to apply for a scholarship offered by the particular school of your choice before the teen is enrolled ? Or are scholarships also offered after enrollment through sources not offered by the school?
